The company is great! You work from home answering calls that come in, and you have a scheduled week. They offer insurance and good pay for this type of job. Is a very good job but can become very stressful with the different weather situations. Did get to meet different people whom I have managed to keep in touch with and learned something new.

Learned alot working at Calleys,Changing customer tires and doing minor mechanic work on vehicles as needed. Fun place to work. Its like having your own business. This is one of the better jobs that I have had, What makes it so great is that I get to do it from home. I don't have to worry about gas prices, purchasing lunch or getting dressed for work and most of all no traffic. The hardest thing about this job is helping some customers troubleshoot their equipment when they are not tech savvy.

Answer phones as they continue to come in and help customers trouble shoot why they are not getting programming or why their bill is so high. I have never been treated the way this company treated me. The trainers are rude and dont know what they are doing. They treated us like children. I sat through 3 weeks of training 10am-7pm, drove my daughter 30 minutes away to a babysitter every morning and picked her up every night so i could have a silent work environment.

I did well on my tests and was learning. I have never dealt with a company so unprofessional in my life. I am typing this in anger of course because this just happened last night, I am still in utter shock and disbelief. I have bent over backwards for this job as I always would being I am a hard working single mother. I have been working from home for years and I have never in my life been so stressed and upset everyday how those trainers treat people. I bet anything they have a huge turnover with employees and that says alot about a company.

The account I was on was very unethical. Ethics, ethics, ethics is what they preached during training. It was brought to the attention of the trainer that a few of the people were cheating on exams And seemingly, nothing happened to them. Shady sales practices, shoddy troubleshooting tools. And the Citrix program they were using was always dropping, usually right in the middle of a customer call. My fellow trainees were great There was indeed 6 weeks of training, but they tried to cram 1 year of training into6 weeks.

The job was advertised as a tech job Management had way too much on their plate to adequately assist new employees. Fair atmosphere in all possible observations. Get to work, clock in at my cubicle, take phone calls all night till the end.

The breaks were the same time every day, the lunch was the same time everyday, very structured environment. The best job I've ever had. I learned everything i know about connecting up electronics and tv systems.

The path to success was given before I was even fully hired. It was very obvious to each worker how they would become great in this environment. The ONLY reason that i don't work there is because i had a offer to go to school in north carolina for free. The order that they teach you the material is not conducive to effectively learning the job. They teach by making you look in their system like a scavenger hunt which wastes time instead of teaching you "how to" then going over it to be sure you learned it.

I was told that if I leave my desk for anything outside of breaks and lunch that I would be reprimanded and my scores marked down. This all came from the ten seconds it took me to answer my door. They're not realistic about the needs and responsibilities of people working out of your home. They were mean, rude and very disrespectful.

When you work in a callcenter and have to step away from your desk for a short moment you are allowed that without consequences. This company is VERY unrealistic and unconcerned with the employees' needs. Good Luck on your job search. People were working there not because they knew what they were doing, but because they had been there so long. Hopefully Asurion is bringing back data-driven strategies and more nimble and flexible operations.

Hard to follow guidelines that cause customers to very upset. Let employees talk to the customers instead of always reading a script.

I got to help customers understand and show them how to use there cable the correct way, and enjoy it. I did not like the rudeness I had to put up with through out the day, but as long as I could get them to understand, that's all that mattered. You shouldn't have sold out to Asurion. Good environment, very involved in community, excellent benefits. Worked at home, no commute no wardrobe expense etc.

Horrible supervisors, low pay, angry callers and a lot of stress. Very high turnover, they do not want to ever give raises so they fire most people at one year and start over.
